You are gonna love this place! This year’s shoot will
take place at the unassumingly beautiful Texas Disposal
Systems “Wildlife Ranch,” which is by far the finest venue
in this area for this type of entertaining. Situated on top
of a hill, this Montana style lodge and challenging, but
fun sporting clay course will make you feel like you’re
in the high country. Bring your camera, because as you
drive through the entrance towards the lodge you will see
an incredible collection of free-roaming exotic animals.
This isn’t any box lunch deal! Our Texas Game
Wardens are blue-ribbon chefs when it comes to cooking
up wild game and frying fish. (They have promised to
limit road kill to the hors d oeuvres.) After a morning
of fast shooting you can relax in one of the many oversized
rockers on the back porch that overlooks a prairie
of Texas native grasses.
If you love the outdoors, bring your best shotgun
and rally four of your best friends and come help us
support our game wardens, men and women who have
dedicated themselves and even put their lives on the line
to protect your wildlife resources.

OGT is Texas’ Wildlife Crime Stoppers Program.
It is part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department and
works to assist our Texas Game Wardens in their efforts
to curtail poaching activity. The program raises money
to fund promotion of public awareness, provides a tollfree
reward hotline for reporting violations, and provides
payments of rewards and payment of death benefits to the
family of any of our officers killed in the line of duty. Our
fundraising efforts have allowed us to purchase twelve
smaller versions of our “infamous” Wall of Shame Exhibit
to travel within each region around the state. These
exhibits enable us to emphasize the magnitude of natural
resource crime. Recently passed legislation allows the
OGT Committee to offer rewards on additional criminal activities
like boating while intoxicated and criminal trespass. The legislation
also allows the Committee to better assist our wardens in implementing
new and emerging technology in the fight against criminal exploitation
of our wildlife resources. It’s a program that continues to work, thanks
to supporters like YOU!
